Nomaoi festival, samurai in Fukushima

Minami-Soma, Fukushima prefecture, July 25 2015 - Sunday race of Nomaoi, a festival of samurai riding horses.
The Soma nomaoi is said to be a 1000-year-old traditional festival. It was held in 2011, a few months after the nuclear disaster, but only a few local horses were available.
