In the Toyoshikidai area, a bedroom suburb where are living a lot of old people, urban and social developments are on their way.The University of Tokyo’s Institute of Gerontology and the Urban Renaissance Agency have been experimenting community building suited to the aging society since 2009, to create an integrated community care system.
