Knowing that we were abandoned, living in a highly contaminated area and exposed to a lot of radiation, makes us feel very bitter..Around 20 people from Iitate gathered and founded the ?Don't give up, Iitate? association to create health record booklets, requests for whole body counter examinations, phone books to keep evacuees connected, and so on..The government is certainly willing to hide information, so it is very important that we transmit this information to the next generations and prevent another accident. It's terrible that in a supposedly developed country, we were not aware of what was going on. We had no idea."
