The tower itself is considered as the center of the lotus flower formed by the height mountains around the city. (Fr) Janvier 2010 - Koyasan, Japon. Dans le Daito (la "grande tour"), erigee par Kukai puis reconstruite plusieurs fois. L'interieur represente un mandala en trois dimensions, compose de divinites bouddhistes et de peintures murales. La tour en elle meme represente le centre de la fleur de lotus formee par les huit montagnes entourant la ville.
