Kyoto International Conference Center

Kyoto, Japan, June 14 2016 - Kyoto International Conference Center was designed by Japanese architect Sachio OTANI and opened in 1966. The center housed the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP3) that resulted in the famous Kyoto Protocol. Sachi OTANI began his career in Kenzo Tange's studio, where he helped design the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
