Housing crisis in London

London, England, UK, May 31 2018 - Judi Bos, 49, is the last resident in her block at Aylesbury Estate, a housing estate in Walworth, South East London. She is not willing to leave unless the council pays a proper price for her flat.
Aylesbury estate, once the largest estate in Europe, is currently undergoing a major regeneration programme by demolishing and replacing of the dwellings with modern houses controlled by a housing association. Some residents and activists still protest against the demolition and the gentrification of London.
London is facing a major housing crisis, due to rising cost and under-supply.
