Hiiragiya Ryokan

Kyoto, Japan, February 9 2016 - Holly (Hiiragi) leaf made by sunlight passing through the wall in a room of the « New Building » at Hiiragiya Ryokan, one of the finest ryokan (Japanese Inn) in Kyoto. Hiiragiya was established in 1818. A new building was built in 2006 and each of the twenty-eight rooms at Hiiragiya was uniquely designed with its own special motif.
